Las Vegas not only opens your eyes, it excites the senses. My husband and I have had the pleasure of going to Las Vegas several times in our lives for many weddings and events, plus our own wedding to boot! It is one "Wild City" and the lights alone can knock you over. Nevada was one of the first states to legalize gambling. It was outlawed for a time but people fought to keep gambling going in the state. The big building boom started in 1940s and 1950s and then in 1976 they started building the mega resorts. Entertainment follows a close second to gambling in Las Vegas, it is thought of as the "entertainment capitol of the world" . Featuring fabulous entertainers, events and conventions. Examples include, Elvis, Jay-Z, Wayne Newton, Danny Gans, Liberace,Celine Dion, and many more. Las Vegas lures thousands of visitors daily, with world class restaurants and spas, superb service in luxury hotels. With an average of 120,000 Weddings that are preformed every year on record for the county, it's a draw all on its own. My husband and I have stayed at many of these resorts and below, I have listed links and added information, from my travels to Las Vegas.
