Cottage Grove hosts celebrations all year long, including art walks during the summer, many bike fests and bicycle tours, concerts in the park every Wednesday and vendors with fresh organic produce too. The Bohemia Mining Day Parade and celebration in July is a big event and draws thousands of visitors yearly. Another big event is the Covered Bridge Festival held annually, last year they started the festival in September, its this time of year when leaves begin to turn and the explosive colors, make the Cottage Grove Covered Bridge Scenic Byway Tour, a fantastic success.
