I had a wonderful time at the Louvre, they feature the most famous and beautiful works of art in this place. Plus they host the famous "Mona Lisa" painting, I took a picture of her and my flash went off accidentally and the lights went off and the security guards were looking around. I hid while the loudspeaker said DO NOT USE FLASH IT DESTROYS THE PICTURE. oopsies, I was SO embarrassed. I sneaked out with the crowd.

The Arc de Triomphe is a memorial to those who fought and died for France, in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. It was commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806. This French memorial of freedom and bravery stands today in Paris, and holds up this city with honor and reverence to those to died to make their country free. Like america we celebrate freedom and honor our veterans with many memorials, personally I wish we had some like the French do. The Arc to me is like the backbone to their country, sitting right in the middle of the most pristine and busy streets in Paris, reminding everyone daily of the sacrifices to their country. its free to see and the French get to revel in it daily.
